The Vacancy
Role: Billing Specialist
Hours: 40 hours a week/3 days a week from COT (Central office in Pimlico), (2 days at COT and 1 from a nursery setting)
Contract: 12 months (Maternity cover)
Salary: £28,400 – £30,000

This opportunity is best suited to those who are looking to develop and experience in-house finance. You will have the chance to learn new systems, government policies relating to grants and use your customer service skills to support our families. The experience gained in this role can help you in a future career in finance and billing. You will work in a shared services team to deliver excellent customer service (dealing with parent queries), manage billing (invoices and payments), and ensure bill and debt accuracy.
The role requires a high level of vigilance and accuracy as you will be checking grant allocation and bills on a daily basis. You will be representing LEYF and ensuring that exceptional customer service is provided to both internal and external customers. Correctly in line with local authority policies and deadlines, you will work in partnership with nursery teams and parents to manage debt and guarantee grant submissions are submitted.
