Role: Marketing Manager

Hours: 40 hours a week/2 days a week from COT (Central office in Pimlico), 3 from home (nursery visits required).

Salary: £44,500 to £49,000.

 

Promoting and raising awareness amongst parents and families is vital to helping LEYF run. The role of the Marketing Manager is especially important as you will be working with our nurseries and the Customer Services team to build content to position LEYF as the nursery provider of choice in London. Your role will be vital to helping drive show-around bookings and filling spaces at our nurseries.

To fully experience the role, you will have a strong marketing and communications background, be pragmatic, a great strategic thinker and work at speed to deadlines.

This role is broad and creative, and you will have the flexibility to deliver multi-channel, innovative campaigns, working with internal stakeholders. You will need to be practical and able to operationally set up and deliver campaigns ensuring a positive impact to the organisation.

About you:

  • Proven success in a marketing role running integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns including print and social media (paid and organic).
  • Strong skills in digital advertising paid and organic – experience of split testing content to optimise reach and audience engagement..
  • Experience of email marketing which engages target audiences.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to flex messages for different audiences.
  • Analytical approach to reporting and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). 
  • Measurement and drive to deliver orientated.
  • Able to work in close collaboration with multiple departments.
  • Desire to deliver for internal clients as well as external clients.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Creating and delivering marketing campaigns offline and online.
  • Working with designers to develop materials that achieve campaign objectives.
  • Keeping relevant website pages up to date
  • Developing email marketing capacity
  • Supporting events with logistics and brand materials
  • Managing marketing expenditure in line with agreed budgets.
  • Define KPIs and lead creatively to meet these, delivering reports on campaign performance drawing on analytics
  • Working in partnership with key stakeholders; Area Managers, Nursery Managers and other teams in our Central Office
  • Supporting partnerships and seeking new opportunities to reach different communities eg. festivals and local events.
  • Providing Out of Hours cover on shared rota with other senior Marketing team members to support CEO and EMT (Executive Management Team) in managing any reputational risk issues promptly.
